And all of a sudden… September 14, 2010

So there is this kid that is in VPK at my school/work. He is the coolest kid ever! I love him so much! I babysit him and his sister… Sometimes I just want to take them home with me. He responds to me better than he does his own teacher(sometimes). He kind of freaks out on her sometimes and I’m the only one that can calm him down. I don’t know why but that’s the way it is with him. BUT I LOVE HIM SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!! (And his sister… but this isn’t really about her. I’ll blog about her another day lol)

Well, recently they took him somewhere to find out why he has sudden tantrums and freaks out with his teacher for no reason. It turns out he has Aspergers Syndrome(AS), which is a type of autism. I flipped out! I went home (today) and started researching. First I wanted to know what it was and how do you know when someone has AS… Then I started researching if it was curable. Then I realized, I have something better than any “Cure” a doctor could give this child.  I want to tell them about God and His healing power but I don’t know what they believe and I don’t want to scare them right of the bat… I just know God is going to use me in this family and I’m EXCITED! I can’t wait to see what He is going to do for this family.

A few weeks ago I was at a prayer service and God gave me a vision. He showed me three families I was going to help (harvest-if you understand what that means AWESOME, if not don’t worry about it)… and THIS FAMILY was one of the families He showed me! So I know that God had put me in these people’s lives for a reason! And I’m excited to see His Healing Power take place in this child’s life! “And all of a sudden” this family’s life will be changed forever… that is what I’m believing for!
